VisualNova is a editor for stop-motion animatons. Currently stop motion animators have limited access to editing software that is tailored to their unique form of art. These current programs lack the specialized features necessary to provide adequate feedback, organize massive amounts of image files, and save time with batch editing processes. In an effort to combat these issues we proposed and prototyped a software system that provides a more focused and specialized interface and feature set. This includes a more visual and modular approach to displaying timeline information, user grouping of frames into shots, as well as mass editing of images.

Designer: I solidified the list of features we wanted to focus on, sketched out iterations of the prototype we proposed to create, and design UI layouts.
User Tester: I designed and ran user test sessions, interviewed interactors, and compiled the results of the evaluations.
